EBIC’s peer-reviewed article on justifying plant biostimulant claims

Our article on the General Principles to Justify Plant Biostimulant Claims has been published! It covers topics including other sources of evidence than trials and considers how to keep the number of trials reasonable while ensuring that the results are credible. EBIC’s membership ranges from very large companies down to micro companies, and these principles were developed with input from the whole spectrum. We also note that there is a difference between the amount of data needed to demonstrate the proof-of-concept to regulators and to provide more detailed recommendations for use to growers. We hope you enjoy the article. We would welcome feedback.
